Specialist in Cardiology
Conn. October 29, 2013) – Joseph Mitchel, D.O., of
Newington, a specialist in cardiology, has joined the medical staff of Saint
Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Mitchel received
his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He
completed his residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine,
Dr. Mitchel is board
certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Interventional
Cardiology. Dr. Mitchel is a Fellow of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and
Intervention. He is a Veteran of Foreign Wars and a member of the American
Legion. In 2007, he received a United States Army Medical Commendation Award.
At Saint Francis, Dr. Mitchel
practicing as a member of the Hartford Cardiology Group. He will also maintain
his practice location at Johnson Memorial Medical Center.
