Specialist in Hospital Medicine
Conn. August 8, 2013) – Shayta Chittoori, M.D., of Avon, a
specialist in hospital medicine, has joined the medical staff of Saint Francis
Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Chittoori received her medical degree from Vinayaka
Mission’s Medical College, Pondicherry, India. She completed her fellowship in
geriatrics at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Chittoori completed
her residency training in internal medicine at Woodhull Medical and Mental
Center, Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Chittoori is board
certified in internal medicine and geriatrics. She is a member of the American
College of Physicians, the American Geriatrics Society, and the American
Medical Directors Association.
