Safe, Easy Parking 

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center offers convenient parking to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Our parking options offer an indoor garage to access the main hospital and the Gengras Medical Office Building at the Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center campus, and surface parking at adjacent buildings.

Collins Parking Garage

Parking for visitors is available in the Collins Parking Garage, which is connected to the Patient Care Tower, the Gengras Medical Office Building and the Saint Francis/Mount Sinai Regional Cancer Center.

Garage Control Pay Stations 

Remember to take your parking ticket with you. 

The Collins Garage is equipped with an automated pay system, which allows you to pay your fee inside the hospital, before returning to your car in the garage. The central pay stations are located on the first and second floors of the hospital, near the exits to the garage.

Long-term Parking

For frequent visitors, weekly parking passes are available for $25.00 and monthly parking passes are available for $106. For more information, call (860) 714-5552 or after hours (860) 714-5553.

Security Escorts 

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center parking facilities are well lit and equipped with surveillance cameras and security patrols. A security escort to your vehicle is available 24 hours a day by dialing 44492 from any hospital telephone.

Handicapped Parking

The Collins Garage has 35 handicapped parking spaces located on the second floor. Vehicles using these spots must display state-issued handicapped parking permits. Illegally parked vehicles are subject to ticketing and towing by the Hartford Police Department. If the handicapped spaces are full, please use our free valet parking service, located on the second floor, near the hospital entrance.

Emergency Department

Ambulance Entrance

If you have followed a patient into the Ambulance Entrance by car, please ask the security guard to park your car and return your keys.

Walk in Entrance

Parking is available in the E.D. parking lot on Ashley Street, just outside the John T. O'Connell Tower. Drop off patient and notify security guard to access the parking lot.

Admitted Patients

If you came to the Emergency Department and parked your car in the Emergency Department lot, notify Security to have the car moved to an appropriate space in our garage.

E.D. Handicap Parking SpotsHandicapped Parking 

Located at the John T. O’Connell Tower, the Emergency Department has ample handicapped parking available near the entrance. 

Cancer Center

Free valet parking is always available at the Cancer Center entrance. Patients may also park in the Collins Garage.

Gengras Medical Office Building, 1000 Asylum Avenue

Park in the garage and enter the hospital on the 1st or 2nd level. Proceed to the 2nd floor and access 1000 Asylum through the connector to 1000 Asylum, located to the left if you have just entered the 2nd floor from the Collins Garage.  When you reach the building, follow signs to your doctor's office or clinic. 

Handicapped Parking

Handicapped parking is available directly across from the entrance to the Collins Garage.  Parking for the Gengras Medical Office Building can also be found on the 2nd floor of the Collins Garage. If using the dedicated Gengras spaces, please enter the building through the first-floor handicapped entrance.  

Comprehensive Women's Health Center

Free valet parking is always available at the Cancer Center entrance. Patients may also park in the Collins Garage.

Women's Center/1075 Asylum Avenue

Parking is available directly behind the building. The driveway is located on Woodland Street.
