(HARTFORD, Conn.) – Scott A. Kamelle, M.D., of Bloomfield, has joined Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center’s Division of Gynecologic/Oncology.
Dr. Kamelle most recently was associated with the Women’s Cancer Center of Northern California. From 2002 to 2004, he was associated with Chicago Gynecologic Oncology.
A graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Kamelle served as an intern and resident in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and as a fellow in the Department of Gynecological Oncology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Oklahoma City.
A diplomate of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Kamelle is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association, the Massachusetts Medical Society, the American Association for Cancer Research and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets and is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
