(HARTFORD, Conn.) – Tracey E. Krasnow, M.D., of Avon, has joined the Medical and Dental Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Krasnow received his medical degree from Saint George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies. He completed his residency training in categorical pediatrics, psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry at Indiana University, Indianapolis. During his residency, Dr. Krasnow participated in The Sleep Collective, a national program in New York to educate psychiatric residents about sleep disorders and treatment.
Board eligible in pediatrics, psychiatry and child psychiatry, Dr. Krasnow is certified in pediatric advanced life support and by the Neonatal Resuscitation Program. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
At Saint Francis, Dr. Krasnow will practice as a member of PATH Outpatient Services and as a child psychiatrist on the ABC Child Inpatient Unit.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets. It is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
