The New England Institute of Addiction Studies is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships for individuals connected to Connecticut faith-based entities to the 2014 New England School of Addiction and Prevention Studies. The school will take place June 9 - 12, 2014 at Worcester State University, Worcester, MA.
The scholarships NEIAS is offering will cover the full residential rate ($860 for a single bedroom or $760 to share a double bedroom), which also includes meals in the campus cafeteria.
Scholarships are available to those currently working or volunteering in the field of addiction and/or mental health connected to Connecticut faith - based entities, such as: faith leaders, substance abuse counselors, prevention professionals, outreach staff, or recovery support staff. These scholarships are funded by specially designated dollars that mandate that individuals using these funds work or volunteer in Connecticut in a faith-based entity.
