PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

The Saint Francis PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program participates in the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Resident Matching Program and requires each applicant to follow the requirements of the Matching Program.

Program Information

  • Positions Available: 3
  • Length of Program: 12 months
  • Start Date: July 1

Applicant Requirements:

  • Be a graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
  • Eligible to attain licensure in the state of Connecticut by August 1st of the residency year
  • Have entry-level knowledge and skills equivalent to that which would be expected of a recent doctor of pharmacy or other appropriate advanced degree candidate

Required Application Materials – Deadline January 5th

All application materials should be submitted using the PhORCAS system by the deadline.

  • Curriculum vitae
  • Letter of intent
  • Three letters of recommendation (PhORCAS form required)
  • Pharmacy school transcripts (Sent directly from school to PhORCAS)

Application materials will not be accepted after the deadline.

Only complete applications will be considered.

PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency Program

The Saint Francis PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency Program participates in the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Resident Matching Program and requires each applicant to follow the requirements of the Matching Program.

Program Information

  • Positions Available: 1
  • Length of Program: 12 months
  • Start Date: July 1

Applicant Requirements:

  • Obtain licensure in the state of Connecticut by July 1st of the residency year
  • Completion of an ASHP Accredited PGY1 Residency Program

Required Application Materials – Deadline January 5th

All application materials should be submitted using the PhORCAS system by the deadline.

  • Pharmacy school transcripts (Sent directly from school to PhORCAS)
