Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program

The Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency includes a credential in reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery (PMSR/RRA). Our three-year program is highly regarded because of its well-rounded nature; high volume of surgical cases; hands-on approach; and approachable, well-trained attendings. This program provides a complete education where residents who graduate are not only skilled podiatric surgeons, but are also able start and run a successful private practice.

The Podiatric surgery residency program at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center began in 1990 and has been graduating well-trained podiatric surgeons each year since then. With 617 beds and specialties and residency programs in almost every discipline, the hospital is consistently ranked among the best in New England.
