Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center is proud to offer patients
specialized care in the form of a Hospitalist. A Hospitalist is a physician
whose main focus is the medical care of hospitalized patients.
Many patients are referred to Hospitalists by their primary care physicians
(PCPs) for treatment. The role of a Hospitalist begins when a patient is
admitted to the hospital and continues for the duration of their hospital stay.
