Stephanie Kelly, R.N., B.S.N., Named Executive Director of the Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute

Stephanie Kelly(Hartford, Conn. February 11, 2014) – Stephanie Kelly, R.N., B.S.N., of South Windsor, has been named the Executive Director of the Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute at Saint Francis 

Kelly joined CJRI in 2008 as the Manager of Perioperative Services.  During that time, she was instrumental in developing the pre-admission surgical screening unit, improving operational efficiencies, and applying standardization to many processes and procedures throughout the perioperative areas.  Kelly’s focus to promote a collaborative work environment, prioritize quality of care and facilitate staff educational opportunities have remained consistent during her tenure. 

Prior to her role at Saint Francis, Kelly served as the Perioperative Director at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs.  She earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Northeastern University, Boston, Mass.  Kelly has over 20 years of nursing experience within the areas of medical-surgical care, emergency department medicine, critical care, and surgical services.
