Will serve three-year term
(Hartford, Conn. July 22, 2014) – David
Bondanza, of Canton, CT, has been elected to a three-year term on the Board of
Directors of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center Foundation.
Bondanza is an associate attorney with Hassett & George, P.C., in Simsbury
where he practices in the areas of employment
law, corporate law, commercial and construction litigation, estate planning and
administration. He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, and Federal
District Court and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Bondanza is
an Adjunct Professor at Kaplan University and teaches employment law, legal research,
legal analysis, and paralegal skills classes.
Mr. Bondanza graduated from SUNY Empire State
College, Saratoga Springs, NY, with a bachelor's degree in electrical
engineering technology. He received his Juris Doctor
Degree Cum Laude from the Quinnipiac University School of Law, Hamden, CT. Mr.
Bondanza was the recipient of the Service to the Law School Award.
He also holds certification as a Six Sigma Green
Mr. Bondanza is active in the community, serving
as Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of Canton. In
addition, for over 26 years, he has been a volunteer firefighter and EMT in
three departments. For the past 18 years he has volunteered at the Canton Fire
and EMS Department as a Certified Firefighter II, Emergency Medical
Technician-Intermediate, Certified Safety Officer, Fire Services Instructor,
and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Instructor. Mr. Bondanza is the past chief of the
Canton Fire and EMS Department and has held every rank within the scope of
volunteer emergency services. Mr. Bondanza has authored a program entitled
"You Be the Jury" to instruct EMT and paramedic students in the areas
of legal and medical ethics.
Mr. Bondanza is a licensed private pilot, and an
avid amateur photographer.
