Niamey P. Wilson, M.D., M.S.H.P.

(Hartford, Conn.  September 26, 2014) – Niamey P. Wilson, M.D., M.S.H.P., a specialist in breast surgery and general surgery, has joined the medical staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center as the Co-Medical Director of the Comprehensive Breast Health Center.  

Dr. Wilson earned her medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. She completed her general surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where she also completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship. In addition, she was selected as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar during her research years, where she received several grants for her research on surgical decision making. Through this program, she earned a Master’s Degree in Health Policy Research from the University of Pennsylvania. She is board certified in general surgery. 

Dr. Wilson is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. 

At Saint Francis, Dr. Wilson is practicing as a member of Saint Francis Medical Group.
