Alexander Mbewe, M.D., Joins Saint Francis

Specialist in Geriatrics  

Alexander Mbewe MD(Hartford, Conn. November 25, 2014)  – Alexander Mbewe, M.D., of Farmington, a specialist in geriatric medicine, has joined the medical staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. 

 Dr. Mbewe received his medical degree from University of Zambia School of Medicine, Lusaka, Zambia, where he also finished his internship. He completed his residency in internal medicine from Queens Hospital Center, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Jamaica, New York, and a geriatric fellowship from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. 

Board certified in internal and geriatric medicine, Dr. Mbewe is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, as well as a member of the American College of Physicians. 

At Saint Francis, Dr. Mbewe is practicing as a member of the Saint Francis Medical Group.
