Prakash, M.D. of South Windsor has been elected to a two-year term on the Board
of Directors of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

experience in the field, is also President of the Medical Staff at Saint
Francis. In addition to his private practice, he mentors medical students from
University of Connecticut Medical School as well as residents at Saint Francis.

completed a residency in medicine at Cabrini Medical Center in New York. He
completed a fellowship in cardiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in
New Hyde Park, New York, and a second fellowship in cardiac catheterization at
Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
