Saint Francis Names Nicole Schulz Vice President of Operations

NicoleSchulz200(Hartford, Conn.  February 19, 2015) – Saint Francis Care has appointed Nicole Schulz to the position of Vice President of Operations. In her new role she will work to strengthen the operational foundation of the Hospital.

Schulz joined Saint Francis in 2006 as the director of revenue cycle and most recently served as the vice president of that same department, a position she has held since 2009.  As vice president of revenue cycle, Schulz oversaw the Hospital’s patient financial services, patient access, health information management, revenue integrity and managed care departments.  She also served as an executive champion for both the ICD-10 and EpiCare electronic medical record implementation, computer and coding systems integral to information technology.  

Prior to joining Saint Francis, Schulz worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, serving as manager within its healthcare consulting practice.    

Schulz earned an M.B.A. with a concentration in healthcare management from Boston University Graduate School of Management.  She is also a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
