Francis Care Connect@City Hall will resume patient appointments
following the successful search for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
(APRN) to manage the site under the supervision of a Saint Francis physician.
Walk-in care for City and State employees and their families will be available from 7:30 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m., on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Saint Francis Care Connect@City Hall is a 1,000-square-foot space on
the ground floor at City Hall, at the Prospect Street entrance. It includes two
exam rooms, a receptionist and waiting area. The site offers convenience for
employees who have basic healthcare needs and cannot get in to see their
primary care physician, or for employees without a usual source of primary
The site provides treatment
for minor illnesses such as allergy symptoms, cough, pink eye, sore/strep
throat, upper respiratory infection, ear ache, urinary tract infection, minor
cuts and burns, ankle/knee sprains, bug bites, etc. Health screenings include asthma, blood
pressure, diabetes (glucose) and other lab testing referrals. Testing for blood sugar, flu, cholesterol,
and pregnancy are among those available at the clinic.
