Sebastian T. Tosto, M.D.

Specialist in Internal Medicine 

(Hartford, Conn. October 19, 2015) - Sebastian T. (Tom) Tosto, M.D., of Cromwell, has joined Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center as an internist with Saint Francis Medical Group’s ambulatory clinic. 

Dr. Tosto received his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA. Dr. Tosto is board certified in internal medicine. 

Before coming to Saint Francis, Dr. Tosto was assistant professor of medicine/teaching hospitalist at UT Houston Medical School in Texas.  

He also served as a brigade surgeon with the 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan and received a Bronze Star and combat medical badge. Dr. Tosto was also deployed to Iraq in Operation Iraqi Freedom as well as Operation Enduring Freedom/Afghanistan. 

Dr. Tosto is currently working toward a Masters of Business Administration at Quinnipiac University.
