Ernest B. Jermin, II, M.D., Joins Saint Francis

Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

(Hartford, Conn. June 20, 2011) – Ernest B. Jermin, II, M.D., of Hartford, a child and adolescent psychiatrist, has joined the Medical Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Jermin received his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean, Saint Maarten, Netherlands Antilles, and a master of science in public health degree from Tulane University, New Orleans.

He served as a resident in psychiatry at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, N.Y., and as a fellow in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital.

A member of the Alpha Omega Phi Honor Society, Dr. Jermin is board eligible in psychiatry.

At Saint Francis, he is practicing as a member of the Saint Francis Behavioral Health Group, P.C.

Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets.  It is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
