Specialist in Facial, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Joins Saint Francis

(Hartford, Conn. December 22, 2011) – Zeeshan S. Aziz, M.D., of Windsor, a specialist in otolaryngology, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, has joined the medical staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Aziz received his medical degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.  He served as an intern in general surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, and as a resident and chief resident in otolaryngology at Southern Illinois University, Springfield.  He also served as a fellow in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Indiana University, Indianapolis.  Prior to entering medical school, Dr. Aziz served as a pulmonary researcher at the Boston University School of Medicine.
Board certified in otolaryngology and board eligible in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Aziz is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery; American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery; American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy; American Academy of Family Physicians; and American Medical Association.  He is the author or co-author of three papers published in professional journals.
At Saint Francis, Dr. Aziz is practicing as a member Prohealth Physicians/Federal Hill Subspecialty Group, in Bristol.
