(Hartford, Conn. July 9, 2012) – Samuel D. Buonocore, M.D., of Branford, a specialist in plastic surgery, has joined the medical staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Buonocore received his medical degree from the State University of New York, Syracuse, N.Y. He completed his fellowship in hand and microsurgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital, along with his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Buonocore also completed his general surgery residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Buonocore is a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons Residents and Fellows Forum. At Saint Francis, Dr. Buonocore is practicing as a member of the Saint Francis Medical Group.
