(Hartford, Conn. August 7, 2012) – Andrew K. McFarlin, of Woodstock, has joined Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center as Director of the Strategic Portfolio Management Office.
In this newly created role, Mr. McFarlin will be responsible for coordination, management and oversight of all Strategic Information Technology projects. As part of this responsibility he will lead efforts relating to all Enterprise IT projects, innovative technology projects, service line integration and affiliation projects.
Mr. McFarlin came to Saint Francis with more than 12 years experience in the healthcare industry, including most recently as Corporate Director of Information Technology at the Hospital’s new affiliate Johnson Memorial Medical Center.
Mr. McFarlin graduated from the University of Connecticut and served as an avionics crew leader/avionics technician in the U.S. Marine Corps.
