(Hartford, Conn. August 13, 2012) – Abdul Majeed Sheikh, M.D., a specialist in hospital medicine, has joined the medical staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Sheikh received his medical degree from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar, Pakistan. Dr. Sheikh completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, Shreveport, La. Dr. Sheikh completed his residency and internship with the Department of Medicine at the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Sheikh is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
At Saint Francis, Dr. Sheikh is a practicing member of the Saint Francis Medical Group.
