(HARTFORD, Conn., Sept. 30, 2009) - Alison A. Considine, M.D., M.P.H., of Cheshire, has joined the Medical and Dental Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Considine received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She served as an intern in medicine at the Hospital of Saint Raphael; a resident in anesthesiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital; and a fellow in pediatric anesthesiology at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital. Dr. Considine also holds a master's degree in public health from the Yale University School of Public Health.
Board eligible in anesthesiology, Dr. Considine is a member of the Society for Education in Anesthesiology, the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the honor society Phi Beta Kappa.
At Saint Francis, Dr. Considine will practice as a member of Woodland Anesthesiology Associates.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets. It is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
