Specialist in Psychiatry
(HARTFORD, Conn., Feb. 8, 2010) - Larisa Yelunina, M.D., of West Hartford, has joined the Medical Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Yelunina received her medical degree from Novosibirsk Medical Academy, Novosibirsk, Russia. She served as a resident in internal medicine at Saint Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, New York, and as a resident in psychiatry at Zucker Hillside Hospital/Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New Hyde Park, N.Y. She also completed a fellowship in psychosomatic medicine/consultation-liaison psychiatry at Long Island Jewish Medical Center of the North Shore-Long Island Health System, New Hyde Park, N.Y.
Board eligible in psychiatry, Dr. Yelunina is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine.
At Saint Francis, she will practice as a member of Saint Francis Behavioral Health Group, P.C.
