Facility Offers Primary Care, Lab Services
(HARTFORD, Conn., Feb. 22, 2010) -- Saint Francis Care has opened a comprehensive medical facility in Ellington, located at 137 West Road. The 15,000 square-foot facility includes offices for primary care services, specialists and laboratory services.
Primary care diagnosis and treatment for such conditions as diabetes, hypertension and asthma is provided under the direction of M.P. Saiyed, M.D., a board certified family practitioner. Preventative care, travel medicine and worker’s comp services are also available.
“Having served the Ellington community previously, I am pleased to offer my services to the community in this new, leading-edge facility, supported by Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, an institution noted for contemporary, compassionate care,” said Dr. Saiyed.
Primary care services for adults and children are available Monday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
On-site laboratory services providing routine chemistry, blood drawing and screenings are offered through Collaborative Laboratory Services, a Saint Francis Care partner, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The one-story, colonial-style structure also includes facilities for specialty physicians and educational programs.
