(HARTFORD, Conn., Feb. 22, 2010) – M. Parvez Saiyed, M.D., of Ellington, has joined the Medical Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Saiyed received his medical degree from P.S. Medical College, Karamsad, India. He served as an intern at P.S. Hospital, Karamsad, India, and a medical officer at K.G. General Hospital, Navsari, India. He also served as a resident in family medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, Chicago.
Dr. Saiyed is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. At Saint Francis, he will practice as a member of the Saint Francis Care Medical Group in Ellington.
Founded in 1897, Saint Francis is a major teaching hospital licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets. It is the largest Catholic hospital in New England.
