(HARTFORD, Conn., May 18, 2010) – Jayaram C. Radhakrishnan, M.D., of Hamden, a cardiologist, has joined the Medical Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Radhakrishnan received his medical degree from Medical College, Trivandrum, Kerala, India. He served as a resident in internal medicine at Wayne State University/Sinai Hospital, Detroit; a fellow in clinical genetics and a researcher in cardiac genetics at Yale-New Haven Hospital/Yale University School of Medicine; and, a fellow in cardiology at New York Presbyterian Hospital–Weill Cornell Medical Center/The Brooklyn Hospital.
A diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Medical Genetics, Dr. Radhakrishnan is board certified in cardiology and nuclear cardiology. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and is the co-author of four papers published in scientific journals.
At Saint Francis, Dr. Radhakrishnan is practicing as a member of Eastern Connecticut Cardiology Associates, L.L.C.
