ARZU I. DEMIRCI, M.D., JOINS SAINT FRANCIS Specialist in Internal Medicine

(Hartford, Conn. March 22, 2011) – Arzu I. Demirci, M.D., of Farmington, has joined the Medical Staff of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Demirci received her medical degree from the University of Istanbul Medical School at Cerrrahpasa, Istanbul, Turkey. She completed her residency training in internal medicine at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine-Hurley Medical Center, Flint.

Prior to her residency, Dr. Demirci served as a research assistant at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, San Antonio. She is the co-author of two scientific abstracts that have been published in professional journals or presented at medical conferences.

Dr. Demirci is board certified in internal medicine. At Saint Francis she is practicing as a member of Abbey Medical Group.
