Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center supports a comprehensive array of orthopedic services consisting of general orthopedic surgery, joint replacement, spine care, sports medicine, hand surgery, foot and ankle surgery and trauma care. Through the hospital and its affiliate, Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, we provide a broad range of outpatient and inpatient therapy to orthopedic patients.

Orthopedics at Saint Francis includes a specialized post-surgical nursing unit and dedicated operating rooms. Our surgeons perform approximately 1,100 inpatient procedures annually, complemented by a very active outpatient surgery program. The orthopedic department comprises 19 physicians in 11 different groups with office locations throughout the central Connecticut.
