Remembrance Way

The Women's Auxiliary of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center is conducting its ongoing sale of engraved bricks for Remembrance Way. The Auxiliary will be accepting orders until March 2, 2009.

Remembrance Way is located in the garden outside the Patient Care Tower and offers individuals or groups an opportunity to give a lasting gift in memory or in honor of a loved one or to commemorate a special event in someone's life.

Each Spring new bricks are placed in the Walkway and a dedication ceremony honoring the recipients, families and friends is held in the Rotunda. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to the Walkway to view the placement of bricks and enjoy the beauty of the garden.

In fact, in 2009, the New Beginnings Pathway will be designated in Remembrance Way to celebrate the miracle of life with a lasting gift to welcome newborns.

The 2009 Spring Dedication will be held in early June 2nd.
