This course is designed for all physicians and healthcare providers who wish to incorporate MSK ultrasound into their practices. The course will emphasize injection techniques commonly used in an orthopedic and sports medicine practice.
This course is an introduction to diagnostic and interventional MSK ultrasound. The course will consist of a morning of lectures on sonographic anatomy and injection techniques of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and foot and ankle. - Identify normal and abnormal sonographic anatomy of the upper and lower extremity
- Perform ultrasound-guided injections of the upper extremity
- Perform ultrasound-guided injections of the lower extremity
- Understand reimbursement and coding of ultrasound procedures

Participants will rotate through six stations, spending 30 minutes in each. At each station a proctor will teach injection techniques using a cadaver and ultrasound machine, and participants will practice injection techniques.
